Malta International
Music Festival

Organized in 2018, the Malta International Music Festival was dedicated to the great Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, the acclaimed Georgian composer Giya Kancheli, as well as to several contemporary Maltese composers. Known as Malta’s most distinguished music event, the event also featured many internationally-acclaimed musicians. Within the festival and the Armenian Cultural Days it hosted, we had the honor to be commissioned by the European Cultural Foundation to film the concert dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian, several other world-class concerts starring Ray Chen, Maxim Vengerov and others. What is more, we created a dynamic documentary short on the festival and its participants. Directed by David Babayan, the documentary told the story of the country through its music festival.
