About

Legendary composer Penderecki’s monumental Symphony No. 7, subtitled as “Seven Gates of Jerusalem”, was one of the highlights of the jubilee festival titled “Krzysztof Penderecki Days in Armenia” in 2017.We had the honor of making the video recording of the concert and which managed to capture the seriousness, pace, as well as all the sentiments evoked by the symphony’s vocal and instrumental elements. To better prepare for the video production of this concert, we focused on processing this symphony for over two weeks to find the perfect solutions to convey its magnitude in ways other than the static wide shots. We managed to convince the opera hall management into using a rope camera. That’s how we got the interesting shots that convey the magnitude of this work.
